I saw this crucible and just couldn’t pass it up!! So wonderfully tactile… telling a story of its past life held in rough, calloused miners’ hands as they put them filled with English rock and dirt into the furnace in hopes that all that remained when they came out would be gold. Used today, it can beautifully handle whatever “gold” you choose to put in it… or just display as is… chalky, chipped, organic and unique.
