I love my sister in law’s taste, so I asked her if she would like to join forces in presenting a shop of great things we just couldn’t let get away. So we set our searches in different directions; she lives in Idaho and Italy, and I live in California and Connecticut. Which makes our finds as different as our directions. And our journeys never-ending. The result is Uniques of a Kind, a wonderful mash up of furniture, jewelry and decor as unique as the new owners they’re searching for, and destined to make living spaces come alive with their whispered stories.
I am drawn to utilitarian “silver” .. like pewter.. .that somehow looks better with dings and dents in its surface. This pewter pitcher has really nice lines, including a scalloped edged opening and a robust but curvy handle. I’m thinking spring flowers? …coming out of the mouth of the pitcher and haphazardly draping over the sides. This beauty measures 10.5” high and 9.5” from tip of the spout to edge of the handle.
