1920's Wood Shoe Forms
1920's Wood Shoe Forms
I loved them when I first laid eyes on them because they were so unique. And in all my searches and researches, their uniqueness is confirmed. I haven’t found a single pair like them. They must have been a form for a sandal as they have a split toe. They have a wonderful graphic quality because of that shape and the canvas insets that bear the name of the company, Cellex, in red cap letters. The tops have a hand painted 7F, also in red. They are really beautiful… handcrafted, with just the right color and detail and texture to be included in our Uniques of a Kind shop.
